Chesterfield Sub-Aqua Club

 

Chesterfield Sub-Aqua Club is affiliated to the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). The club currently has around 30 members of mixed ages and qualifications. The club meets every Tuesday evening in the Boythorpe Pub at 8 o’clock from 9 o‘clock you will find must members at the local pool trying out new equipment or undergoing formal training, or just having a leisurely swim, the club pool is located in the Queenspark Sports Centre. We also have use of the Queenspark leisure centre crèche from 8 o’clock to carry out the theory lessons of our diver training.

 

Diving is arranged for most weekends (weather permitting). Weekend trips and longer holidays are also arranged in Britain and abroad.

Full diver training is available from total beginner to Advanced Diver level and for those who hold qualifications from other diving associations (PADI, NAUI, SAA) who wish to cross over to BSAC. Refresher courses can also be organised. Training courses are organised around individuals and are at a leisurely pace.

 

"Try dive" sessions can be arranged by appointment for individuals or groups of up to 4 at a time. To learn to dive or to attend a " Try Dive" session you must be medically fit and over 16 years of age.
